User Portal Help
The VMware NSX Network Detection and Response delivers insights into advanced threats entering or operating in your network. It protects your environment, giving you visibility into threats across your network. View reports generated by the system and manage your appliances with the User Portal.
After your first login to the User Portal, the system displays the Dashboard: Overview page. At the top of every page is the header with the VMware logo.
Click the icon to access the drop-down help menu. Use the menu to access the following pages: Release Notes, Portal guide, API docs. Downloads, and Manuals.
By default, the appearance of the User Portal matches the system default. Click the / icon to access the drop-down menu that allows you to toggle the appearance. Select Light, Dark, or System Default.
Click Settings or Logout.
to access the pull-down menu. SelectBelow the header is the Main navigation menu. These entries allow you to access the corresponding top-level pages of the User Portal:
- Dashboard

Displays an overview of the threats in your network and provides general visibility into the devices on the network.
- Network

Displays information about your network including the currently known campaigns and recent incidents and events.

Displays mail attachments.
- Investigation

Investigate campaigns and events, using a graphical representation of entities in your network.
- Search

Search the User Portal.
- Analyst

Submit artifacts (files and URLs) for analysis.
- Intelligence

Search the Knowledge Base for analysis artifacts (for example, files, IP addresses, domains).
- Admin

Administration Settings for configuring accounts, licenses, and appliances.
