Alerting permissions

To use the alerting feature, you must have configuration permissions for the creation of new rules and the full rule management process. You must have the following alerting permissions:

• Can view intelligence alerting rules — Allows you to view alerting rules as well as see the matches corresponding to these rules.

• Can manage intelligence alerting rules — Allows you to add new rules and also to edit, disable, or delete existing rules.

The VMware NSX Network Detection and Response administrator controls access to these capabilities by granting alerting permissions per account. Refer to About permissions for details about configuring permissions.
