Monitored network hosts
The Monitored network hosts widget displays an overview of the number of hosts on your network, and information about the devices, operating systems, services, and applications running on each host.
The Scanner icon displays the total number of Hosts detected throughout the current time range. For example, there could be 105 hosts at the start of a week, 33 more hosts appear mid-week and disappear shortly thereafter. The total count for that week would be 138.
The or icons and the number next to them indicate if there has been an increase or decrease in the number of hosts seen compared with the previous time range.
The Device info tabs cycle through and display the detected Device types, OSs, Services, and Applications. For each tab, the number of relevant items for the current time range is displayed along with the increase or decrease (also indicated by or icons) from the previous time range. Click on a Hosts link to view the Hosts list filtered by the selected relevant item, for example, the number of hosts running Ubuntu.
