Network analysis blueprint

The Network analysis blueprint provides an interactive graphical representation of the entities in the selected network.

Controls

The following controls are available on the blueprint graph:

Control

Description

Hovering your mouse over this icon displays the node legend, which shows the name of each node type.

Drag control

Switches to drag mode: dragging the mouse over an area on the blueprint graph drags the graph.

When the blueprint graph is in drag mode, the control is displayed in gray.

Selection control

Switches to selection mode: dragging the mouse over an area on the blueprint graph selects nodes.

When the blueprint graph is in selection mode, the control is displayed in gray.

Erase control

Removes selected nodes from the blueprint graph.

This control is enabled only when selection mode is active. In drag mode, the control is disabled and displayed in gray.

Undo control

Undoes the last expansion: removes any nodes that were added as part of the last expansion.

Lock control

Locks or unlocks nodes to a fixed position.

A closed lock indicates that the position of nodes is locked according to a force-directed algorithm. An open lock indicates that the position of nodes is controlled by users, who can drag nodes into a new desired position.

Use the Find in graph to search for specific text in the blueprint graph. Nodes that match the search term are highlighted in yellow color and are zoomed in. If required by the match, the graph is re-centered to show all matching nodes.
