Reports tab

The Reports tab allows you to configure and view reports that provide an overview of detections by the Sensor. The reporting settings allow you to specify email addresses and choose the frequency of reporting for the email reporting function. The reports can be generated in PDF or HTML format.

Scheduled reports section

The quick search field above the list provides fast, as-you-type search. It filters the rows in the list, displaying only those rows that have text, in any field, that matches the query string.

The columns to be displayed in the list can be customized by clicking the additional content icon.

Customize the number of rows to be displayed. The default is 25 entries. Use the left arrow (back) and right arrow (forward) icons to navigate through multiple pages.

The Scheduled reports list includes the following fields:

Sensor

The sensor that is providing the data. This is displayed, for example, as ABCDEFGHIJ0123456789:sensor-1.

Click edit to edit the scheduled report.

Click delete to remove the scheduled report. Click OK to dismiss the confirmation pop-up.

Periodicity

The frequency that reports are generated and received. This can be on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.

Format

Scheduled reports are generated in HTML or PDF format.

Owner

The email address of the user that created the scheduled report. This is not necessarily the email address of the recipient.

Enabled

The status of the scheduled report.

Click the New button to add a new scheduled report.

Add scheduled report page

On the Add Scheduled Report page, fill in the following fields:

  • Sensor Select the License then select the Sensor from the pull-down menus.

  • Periodicity Select the frequency of the report from the pull-down menus. Select Daily report, Weekly report, Monthly report, or Quarterly report.

  • Format Select the format, HTML or PDF, from the pull-down menus.

  • Timezone Select the timezone from the pull-down menus.

  • Recipients Enter a comma separated list of email addresses. If no recipient address is given, the reports will be sent to your default e-mail address.

  • Enabled Disable the scheduled report by clicking the checkbox .

Click Save when you are done. Then click Back to reports list.

Edit scheduled report page

On the Edit Scheduled Report page, you can update the Periodicity, Format, Timezone, Recipients, replace the Owner with any user from the pull-down menu, and toggle the Enabled status.

Click Save when you are done. Then click Back to reports list.

On-demand report section

In the On-demand Report section, click Generate and Download to generate and download a PDF report.

On the Generate and Download PDF Report page, fill in the following fields:

  • Sensor Select the License then select the Sensor from the pull-down menus.

  • Date range Select Relative and select a number of days or Absolute and select From and To date.

  • Timezone Select the timezone from the pull-down menus.

Click Download when you are done. Then click Back to reports list.
