Administer your user account and permissions on the My account tab.
Account settings
The Account settings section allows you to change your current password, and set or modify information such as your first and last name, and email address. In addition, you can choose a timezone that is then used as the default timezone for your account for all security-related reporting.
Click the Save button to save any modified values.
If you have forgotten your password, the system provides a password reminder service. Click the Forgot your password? link on the User Portal login page.
Advanced settings
The Advanced settings section allows you to change the primary customer account. Any active account with the Administrator permission can be selected as the primary account. If your account has this permission, you can click the Make <your account> the primary account.
The primary customer account is also shown on the License information tab.
Google analytics
By default, Google Analytics is enabled on the Hosted version of the User Portal. We use analytics to understand how the provided content and features of the VMware NSX Network Detection and Response are used. See the VMware privacy policy for further details on how we use your data.
You can exclude your user account from this data collection by clicking Disable Google Analytics.
Roles
The Roles section allows you to view and modify the roles assigned to your account. See About roles for details.
