Metrics: System tab

The Metrics: System tab contains a number of widgets that display the various statistics about the state of the appliances. You can monitor the CPU and memory usage, network traffic, and disk activity with these widgets.

The data displayed in each individual widget can be reloaded by clicking the reload button at the top right corner of the widget. View the widget data in XML/JSON format by clicking the code (source) button.

Use appliance selector widget to select appliances to monitor. Initially no appliances are selected. Click the Appliance: None Selected server link and select one or more appliances from the pop-up. You can also set a Time range and the Time zone.

Appliances

The Appliances widget displays a legend of the selected appliances with each appliance assigned a unique color. The color is used in the other widgets to indicate the metrics of the applicable appliance. You can hide/show the metrics for a specific appliance by clicking its legend entry.

CPU usage

The CPU usage widget displays the CPU usage over the selected time period of the deployed appliances.

Memory usage

The Memory usage widget displays the memory usage over the selected time period of the deployed appliances.

Network traffic sent

The Network traffic sent widget displays the network traffic sent by the deployed appliances over the selected time period.

Network traffic received

The Network traffic received widget displays the network traffic received by the deployed appliances over the selected time period.

Disk usage (root)

The Disk usage (root) widget displays the percentage of the configured root partition disk space that is used on the deployed appliances over the selected time period.

Swap usage

The Swap usage widget displays the percentage of configured swap space that is used on the deployed appliances over the selected time period.

Disk usage (data)

The Disk usage (data) widget displays the percentage of the configured data partition disk space that is used on the deployed appliances over the selected time period.

Disk usage (var)

The Disk usage (var) widget displays the percentage of the configured var partition disk space that is used on the deployed appliances over the selected time period.
